Delete your Ring Twist data
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data that Ring Twist (app ID com.ringtwistgame.rotatepuzzle, developer: Ring Twist) keeps about you. You do not need an account or a password.
In the game (fastest)
- Open Ring Twist and tap the gear button to open Settings.
- Tap Delete all my data.
- Confirm with Yes, delete.
Everything our game server holds about you is deleted straight away, and then the game deletes your progress on the phone and starts over from the beginning with a new Player ID.
By email (for example if you no longer have the game)
Write to ringtwistgame@proton.me with the subject “Delete my data” and your Player ID (shown at the bottom of Settings in the game, for example 7K2M-9QXA-4F8B). If you do not know your Player ID, tell us roughly when you played and on which device, and we will do our best to find your record. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your Player ID record on our game server: nickname, device information (device ID, model, system and app version, language, country), progress summary and statistics.
- Your sessions and your gameplay, ad and purchase events on our game server.
- Your weekly league entries, prizes and gifts not yet collected, and nickname reports and blocks you made or received.
- When you delete in the game: your progress, acorns and items on the phone. A purchased “No ads” stays with your store account and can be restored.
- On request by email, also the data held under your Player ID by our analytics provider (Google Analytics for Firebase) and our purchase provider (RevenueCat).
What is kept
- Purchase records that we must keep for tax and accounting (usually up to 10 years), held by the app stores and RevenueCat; they no longer contain your nickname or device information.
- Banned devices: if a device was banned for seriously breaking our Terms of Use, a one-way hash of its device ID (not the ID itself) is kept so the ban cannot be bypassed, until the ban is lifted.
- Overall statistics and past league tables that no longer identify you.
Without a deletion request, gameplay events are deleted automatically after 400 days and the whole record after two years without playing. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
