Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you play Ring Twist (app ID com.ringtwistgame.rotatepuzzle, the “Game”), a mobile puzzle game, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the developer of Ring Twist. It applies to the Game on Android and iOS.
The short version
- You do not create an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number to play.
- Your progress and settings are stored on your device.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Game is played and how it earns money, advertising networks (through an ad mediation service) to show ads, and RevenueCat with Google Play or the App Store to handle purchases.
- These services receive device and usage information such as an app instance ID, an advertising ID (where you allow it), your IP address and what happens in the Game.
- Ads are personalised only where the law allows it or you agree to it. You can change your choice at any time.
- We do not sell your information for money.

1. Who we are
The developer of Ring Twist publishes the Game and is responsible (the “controller”) for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at ringtwistgame@proton.me.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information stored only on your device
Your game progress (levels, stars, acorns, themes, missions, streaks), your settings (sound, music, vibration, language, reminders) and a record of purchases already credited are saved on your device. We do not receive this information. It is deleted when you uninstall the Game or use Settings → Reset progress.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you play, the Game and the services built into it collect:
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, app version, screen size, mobile network or Wi-Fi, and crash-free usage statistics.
- Identifiers: an app instance ID created by Firebase for this installation of the Game; an anonymous customer ID created by RevenueCat; and the device’s advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) where your device settings and choices allow it. On iOS the IDFA is only available if you allow tracking when the Game asks.
- Approximate location: country and region derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
- Gameplay events: for example a level started, won, failed or abandoned, moves and hints used, rewards collected, items unlocked, and when you open and leave the Game.
- Advertising information: which ads were requested, shown or tapped, the ad network and ad format, the place in the Game where the ad appeared, and the estimated revenue of each ad impression.
- Purchase information: which product you bought, its price and currency, the store transaction ID and purchase token or receipt, and the date. Payments are handled by Google Play or Apple; we never receive your card or bank details.
2.3 Information you give us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
2.4 Notifications
If you turn on reminders, the Game schedules notifications on your device (for example a daily puzzle reminder). They are created on the device itself; no information is sent to a notification server.
3. How we use information
- To run the Game: save your progress, show levels, deliver rewards, and credit and restore purchases.
- To show ads: serve rewarded and interstitial ads, limit how often you see them, and personalise them where permitted.
- To measure and improve: understand which levels are too hard or too easy, fix problems, balance the in-game economy and design new content.
- To measure our marketing: learn which advertising campaigns bring players to the Game and whether they are worth their cost (for example through Google Ads, which receives conversion data from Google Analytics for Firebase).
- To keep the Game safe: detect fraud, invalid ad traffic and abuse of purchases.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Contract: providing the Game and the items you buy.
- Legitimate interests: analytics to improve the Game, non-personalised ads that keep the Game free, measuring our marketing, security and fraud prevention. You can object at any time (see Your rights).
- Consent: personalised advertising and storing or reading information on your device for that purpose. Where consent is required, you are asked when you first open the Game and you can change your choice later.
- Legal obligation: keeping purchase records for tax and accounting, and answering lawful requests.
5. Advertising and your choices
The Game is free to play and is supported by ads. Ads come from a number of advertising networks, for example Google AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Liftoff (Vungle), Mintegral, Pangle, InMobi, Meta Audience Network, Yandex Ads, Amazon and Bigo Ads. An ad mediation service (CAS.AI) chooses, for each ad, which network provides it; the networks used can change over time. The networks may use the advertising ID, IP address and device information to decide which ad to show, to count impressions and clicks, to limit how often you see an ad and to prevent fraud.
- Consent form: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and in regions where the law requires it, a consent form (based on the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) is shown before personalised ads. If consent is required in your region, Settings → Privacy options in the Game lets you review or withdraw your choice at any time.
- iOS: the Game asks for permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, your IDFA is not shared. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- No ads purchase: the “No ads” item removes interstitial ads. Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for a reward, remain available.
Choosing not to receive personalised ads does not remove ads; you will see ads that are less relevant to you.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Game, under contracts that limit how they may use it, and as described below.
| Recipient | Purpose | Information | Their privacy policy |

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, players or the public, and to a buyer or successor if our business or the Game is transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising networks to use identifiers for personalised (cross-context behavioural) advertising may count as “selling” or “sharing” under some US state laws; see Regional information for how to opt out.
7. International transfers
Our service providers process information in the United States, the European Union and other countries whose laws may differ from those of your country. Where information leaves the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. How long we keep information
- On your device: until you reset your progress or uninstall the Game.
- Analytics: event-level data in Google Analytics is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted; aggregated reports that do not identify you may be kept longer.
- Purchases: purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide the items, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Advertising: advertising partners keep information according to their own policies.
- Support emails: for as long as needed to answer you, and then up to two years.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before;
- opt out of targeted advertising and of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information;
- appeal our decision on your request, and complain to your data protection authority.
To use these rights, email ringtwistgame@proton.me. Because we do not know your name, please include the Player ID shown at the bottom of Settings in the Game, so we can find the information linked to your installation. We will answer within the time required by law (usually 30 days, or 45 days in some US states). We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
You can also delete the information on your device at any time with Settings → Reset progress, and reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
10. Regional information
United States
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have the rights listed above. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers, internet and app activity, approximate geolocation, and commercial information (purchases) for the purposes described in this policy, and disclosed them to the recipients listed in section 6. To opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of your information, use the privacy options in the Game where shown, turn off ad personalisation in your device settings (or choose “Ask App Not to Track” on iOS), or email us. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where they can reach us. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.
Brazil
Under the LGPD you may ask for confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion, portability, information about sharing, and to withdraw consent, by emailing us.
Türkiye
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) you may exercise the rights in Article 11, including learning whether your data is processed, requesting information, correction, deletion and objection, by writing to us.
South Korea and Japan
Information may be transferred abroad to the recipients in section 6 for the purposes in this policy. You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing by emailing us.
11. Children
The Game is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Security
Information is sent to our service providers over encrypted connections, and access to analytics and purchase dashboards is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game or the law changes. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the Game. Continuing to play after an update means the updated policy applies.
